WHEREAS, the Regional Task Force (TF) on Tourism Statistics was reconstituted to Technical Working Group (TWG) by virtue of RSC-CAR Resolution No. 06, Series of 2020 approved on 25^th day of November 2020 not only to assist the Philippine Statistics Authority-Cordillera (PSA-CAR) in the compilation of Regional Tourism Satellite Accounts (RTSA) but also to improve tourism statistics of the region as a whole;

WHEREAS, the TWG is composed of PSA as chair and DOT as co-chair and the members are the following:

1. National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA)
2. Bureau of Immigration (BI)
3. Baguio City Tourism Office
4. Provincial Tourism Office – Abra
5. Provincial Tourism Office – Apayao
6. Provincial Tourism Office – Benguet
7. Provincial Tourism Office – Ifugao
8. Provincial Tourism Office – Kalinga
9. Provincial Tourism Office – Mt. Province
10. Baguio Association of Hotels and Inns (BAHAI)
11. Hotel Restaurant Association of Baguio (HRAB)
12. Travel and Tours Representatives

WHEREAS, the inclusion of other stakeholders was suggested during the TSA Technical Session with the Macroeconomic Accounts Service (MAS) conducted last 05 March 2021, specifically the academe and other tourism-related organizations;

WHEREAS, the addition of these key stakeholders and partners to the membership of the TWG is important to a more inclusive TWG and consequently to make the TWG more responsive to the concerns on tourism statistics of the region;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, BE IT

RESOLVED, as it hereby resolved, that the Committee approves the following as additional members of the TWG on Tourism Statistics:

1. Saint Louis University
2. University of the Philippines Baguio
3. Association of Travel and Tours in the Cordillera (ATTIC)
4. Baguio-La Trinidad-Itogon-Sablan-Tuba-Tublay (BLISTT)Tour Guides, Inc.
5. CARTOGO

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the TWG, with the additional members, is expected to undertake the functions as provided for by RSC-Resolution No. 6, Series of 2020 as adopted;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be disseminated to the concerned universities and associations.
