WHEREAS, PSA Board Resolution No. 05, Series of 2015 established the Regional Statistics Committees (RSCs) to provide guidance and direction to regional/local statistical development activities, and serve as policy-making body on statistical issues and matters at the regional levels.
WHEREAS, the same Resolution allows the RSC to modify its composition to provide flexibility, and representation from other regional line agencies (RLAS), City/Provincial Planning and Development Offices (C/PPDOs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), and the private sector;
WHEREAS, RSC-CAR through RSC-CAR Resolution No. 04, Series of 2017 in accordance with PSA Board Resolution No. 03, Series of 2017 reconstituted the RSC-CAR membership composed of the following agencies and offices as members:

WHEREAS, the Committee meets quarterly to discuss local statistical concerns and address statistical issues and matters within the region, and in order to carry-out its vital functions, one of which is the preparation, monitoring and updating of the CAR Regional Statistics Development Program (CAR RSDP); thus, attendance and active participation of Committee members are requisite to arrive at decisions and pass statistical policies;
WHEREAS, the change in leadership in some of the members of the RSC, and in consideration of the challenges to travel brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is deemed necessary to streamline the membership and revitalize the Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, BE IT:
RESOLVED, as it hereby resolved, that the Committee approves the following as members of the streamlined RSC-CAR:

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the revitalized RSC-CAR is expected to undertake the functions as provided for by PSA Board Resolution No. 03, Series of 2017 as adopted;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that representatives from other regional line agencies (RLAs), SUCs, C/PPDOS, and the private sector may be invited to attend the RSC-CAR meetings and activities as necessary for a more effective coordination and harmonized statistical development and operations within the region;
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that the RSC-CAR members provide the RSC-CAR Secretariat with the name of the Regional Directors/Heads of agencies/offices and their representatives and alternate representatives, official email address and contact numbers for record and coordination purposes;
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be disseminated to the concerned agencies and offices.
