WHEREAS, Section 6 (I) of the Republic Act No. 10625 directs the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to coordinate the formulation of the Philippine Statistical Development Program (PSDP), and the PSA Regional offices, as the regional counterpart, to facilitate the preparation of the Regional Statistical Development Program (RSDP)

WHEREAS, the CAR RSDP 2017-2023 envisions a responsive, effective and efficient regional statistical system that delivers quality statistics, products and services for evidence based decision and policy-making towards inclusive and sustainable growth of the Cordillera;

WHEREAS, the CAR RSDP 2017-2023 was formulated in accordance with the guidelines provided by the PSA Board  and prepared in coordination and in consultation  with RSC members and other regional line agencies in a meeting/workshop held on August 15,2017;

WHEREAS, the draft CAR RSDP 2017-2023  was presented and approved by the committee through RSC-CAR Resolution No. 06 last August 29,2017;

WHEREAS, the draft CAR RSDP 2017-2023 underwent series of enhancement and revision to incorporate additional comments and inputs from the RSC members, concerned agencies, and from the Standards Service of PSA;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, BE IT: 

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY  RESOLVED,  that the Regional Statistics Committee, duly assembled, approves and adopts the revised Regional Statistical Development Program (RSDP) 2017-2023 of CAR;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution and the CAR RSDP 2017-2023 shall be provided to all concerned agencies;

RESOLVE FINALLY, that the concerned agencies are enjoined to assign staff to be the RSDP Focal Person in charge of monitoring and reporting of accomplishments and/or updates on their statistical programs to PSA-CAR.
