WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 220 created the CAR for an accelerated economic, social growth and development in the Constituted Provinces and City;

WHEREAS, the Updated CAR Regional Development Plan (RDP) for socioeconomic growth and development of the region was adopted/approved by the RDC-EXCOM fro implementation on December 6, 2001 subsequently confirmed by the RDC-En banc on February 14,2002;

WHEREAS, the RDP implementation, monitoring and evaluation require relevant and comprehensive indicators/data/statistics/information;

WHEREAS, the statistical information/indicators guide/facilitate decision-making and related actions on the plan;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee approves and favorably endorses the project "Operationalizing a Quick Responding Regional Development Indicators System for Plan Implementation Monitoring of the Cordillera Administrative Region;"

RESOLVED FURTHER, as it is hereby further resolved, that the DEVAD and the Good Governance Committee of the RDC is requested to review and endorse the RDIS project to the RDC En Banc for their approval, directing formulation of Niche Indicators by the Committees;

RESOLVED FINALLY, as it is hereby finally resolved, that the DEVAD and the Good Governance Committees of the RDC be furnished with the resolution for their appropriate action.
