WHEREAS, this Committee, in its 2008 First Regular Meeting on May 2, 2008, passed Resolution No. 02, series of 2008, with the intention to identify and develop indicators in the eight plus areas of governance for an autonomous regional government in the Cordilleras as provided for by the Constitution;
WHEREAS, said Resolution also stipulated that a task force be created for the work involved;
WHEREAS, in pursuit of meaningful regional autonomy, the work of the task force needs to expand beyond autonomy to cover the broad area of regional development in line with the Regional Development Council – Cordillera Administrative Region Agenda on Regional Development and Autonomy;
WHEREAS, considering the urgent need for the intended task force output, and the time elapsed since Resolution No. 2, series of 2008, was passed; it is imperative that the task force so stipulated be immediately created;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Committee create the Task Force on Indicators for Cordillera Regional Development and Autonomy or TAFIDA and that said Task Force shall undertake the following: (1) Identify and develop indicators in the eight plus areas of governance, and (2) prepare the corresponding work program;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that TAFIDA shall be initially composed as follows:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that TAFIDA may be reconstituted as needed;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the member-agencies formally designate their permanent and alternate representatives upon receipt of this Resolution;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that all previous resolutions inconsistent with the provisions of this Resolution shall be considered repealed or amended;
RESOLVED FINALLY, AS IT IS HEREBY FINALLY RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be furnished to concerned agencies for information and appropriate action.
