The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Benguet Provincial Statistical Office is currently conducting the quarterly Labor Force Survey (LFS) this April 2023. The conduct of the April 2023 LFS is based on the PSA Board Resolution No. 08, Series of 2020, APPROVING THE CONDUCT OF THE MONTHLY LABOR FORCE SURVEY AND THE GENERATION OF THE MONTHLY LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT STATISTICS.

The April 2023 LFS is a nationwide survey of households to gather data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. It aimed to provide a quantitative framework for the preparation of plans and formulation of policies affecting the labor market and to provide high-frequency statistical information on the Philippine labor market to better monitor and understand the current job situation and economy in the Philippines as well as the impact of the current Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) health crisis. The Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) system will be administered during the data collection.

With this, PSA-Benguet encourages everyone, especially the selected sample households, to please support and cooperate in the conduct of the said statistical activity.

Under Section 26 of Republic Act 10625, the household supplied information will be held strictly confidential and the report cannot be used for purposes of taxation, investigation or enforcement procedure, nor will be published except in the form of statistical summaries in which no reference to any individual person shall appear.

Once again, the office would like to extend its utmost gratitude for the unending support of the public to all the different surveys and censuses undertaken by the office.
