The Philippine Statistics Authority - Cordillera Administrative Region (PSA-CAR), along with other PSA regional offices in the country, simultaneously launched their Data Enclave Centers (DECs) last 14 July 2023.

The said activity was conducted via face-to-face and Zoom video conferencing, hosted by PSA-MIMAROPA. The DEC launching of PSA-CAR was participated by regional line agencies and academe in the region. The data enclave facility aims to bring PSA's products and services closer to its partners, stakeholders, and data users.

During the opening message of PSA Officer-in-Charge Deputy National Statistician Minerva Eloisa P. Minerva via Zoom, she said that the launching of the DECs marks another milestone for the PSA in sharing data to its clients and stakeholders. She added that the initiative promotes an environment that encourages research, collaboration, and innovation.

PSA-CAR’s DEC launching was followed by the data appreciation on selected establishment-based surveys in the afternoon in relevance to the data that the facility has to offer. Senior Statistical Specialist Betina Joy V. Bermillo of PSA-CAR presented the overview and updates of the Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry. PSA-CAR's Assistant Statistician Lorie Ann M. Bucagan presented the 2020 Overseas Wages Survey (OWS) and 2019-2020 Integrated Survey on Labor and Employment (ISLE).

The PSA recognizes the continuing challenge in responding to the demands of its clients and stakeholders, and in disseminating various data being produced by the agency.
