The Philippine Statistics Authority – Cordillera Administrative Region (PSA-CAR) conducted the Second Quarter 2024 Regional Statistics Committee-Cordillera Administrative Region (RSC-CAR) meeting at NEDA RDC Hall, Baguio City last May 13, 2024.

One of the meeting highlights was the nomination, deliberation and selection of the representatives from the Provincial Planning and Development Offices (PPDO), academe/State Universities and Colleges (SUC), and Private Sector to sit as members of the committee. The Committee approved the appointment of the following to RSC-CAR effective 14 May 2024 to 15 May 2027:

PPDO Representatives:
(1)    Benguet Provincial Planning and Development Office
(2)    Kalinga Provincial Planning and Development Office

Academe/SUC Representatives:
(1)    Benguet State University (BSU)
(2)    University of the Philippines Baguio (UP Baguio)
(3)    University of the Cordilleras (UC)
(4)    Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC) President/Representative

Private Sector Representative:
(1)    Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation, Inc.

In reference to the guidelines for RSCs, the RSC Chair shall appoint representatives from the Provincial Planning and Development Offices (PPDO), academe/State Universities and Colleges (SUC) and the Private Sector as members of the Committee for a term of three (3) years with possible reappointment for another three (3) years, from the list of nominees submitted by the other members of the Committee
