The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Ifugao Provincial Office presents data on Civil Registration submitted by the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCRO) in the eleven municipalities of Ifugao covering 2021second quarter reports. These data are preliminary results tabulated thru the PSA’s Decentralized Vital Statistics System (DVSS).
Based on the DVSS tabulation, there was a total of 1,421 Civil Registration Documents (CRD) in the province, an increase of 8.16 % from 1,305 registered documents in the 2021 first quarter. From April to June, Ifugao generated 933 births, 271 marriages and 217 deaths.
Registered live births increased by 14.14 percent
Lamut still tops registered live births in the 2nd quarter of 2021
The graph below shows that Lamut recorded the most births at 277 or 29.69 percent of the total registered births in the 2021 second quarter. The high number of event is attributed to the fact that Panopdopan District Hospital located in Lamut caters to most health services in Ifugao and nearby provinces; hence, as a rule of registration by place of event, Lamut registers the highest birth events. Alfonso Lista is next with 157 births, followed by Tinoc with 91; far behind are Hungduan with 38, Asipulo 34 and Hingyon reported the least number of births with 19 or 2 percent of the total registered births.
Lamut also recorded highest births with 203 or 25.34 percent of the 801 registered births in the first quarter of 2021.

Most Babies were Born of Married Mothers
In the 2nd quarter of 2021, out of 933 registered live births in the province there were about 64 percent or 602 births that were born legitimate while36 percent or 331 were born out of wedlock. Babies born out of wedlock are those whose parents did not acquire Certificates of Marriage before children were born.

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, there were more male deaths with 145 counts or 54 percent than female deaths with 126 or 46 percent of all recorded deaths in the province.
In the 2nd quarter of 2021, out of 271 registered deaths in the province there were about 91 percent or 246 deaths that were registered on time while only 9 percent or 25 deaths were registered late.

The province received a total of 1,421 registered documents for the 2nd quarter of 2021, higher by 8.88 percent from 1305 total registered documents of the first quarter 2021.
Of the 1,421 registered documents received in the province for the 2nd quarter 2021, June recorded the highest with 509 or 36 percent, 487 or 34 percent in May and 425 or 30 percent in April.
In comparison with the first quarter 2021, March listed the highest with 484 or 37 percent, February with 435 or 33 percent and January with 386 or 30%.
