The RSET-CAR, now on its 23rd edition, it has proven to be very useful for planning and decision-making, and for setting policies towards effective governance and

improved service delivery at the local level. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), through its Regional Statistical Services Offices (RSSOs), continues to update and publish local level statistics designed to address the varied statistical needs of planners and policy makers at the subnational level.

 

The RSET, a compendium of local level statistics, presents annual time series data on various sectors of the region and its component provinces, cities, and municipalities. It also contains data that are disaggregated in different dimensions and includes a glossary of terms of official concepts and definitions for statistical purposes.

 

This edition of RSET includes a summary table of the List of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Indicators and Core Regional Indicators System (COREˇIS) available in this publication. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by world leaders in 2015 embody a roadmap for progress that is sustainable and leaves no one behind, and the CORE-IS consists of priority indicators that generate statistics vital towards achieving the local development goals.
