February of every year is Civil Registration Month, pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 issued on January 28, 1991 by President Corazon C. Aquino, to remind Filipinos of their duty to register vital events in their life such as births, marriages, and deaths, as well as decrees, legal instruments, and judicial orders affecting their civil status.

 

In line with the celebration of the 33rd Civil Registration Month this February 2023 with the theme, "PSA @10: Providing Efficient and Effective Civil Registration and Vital Statis tics through Digital Transformation", the Philippine Statistics Authority-Ifugao personnel and the Municipal Civil Registrars and personnel from the different municipalities of Ifugao attended the launching of this year's event. There were 36 participants who actively participated in the day's activity.

 

It commenced with a fun walk from the Provincial Statistical Office down to the Divine Mercy Shrine at Tungngod, Lagawe, Ifugao then followed by a Zumba. 

The Moral Recovery Program conducted by Reverend Bishop Valentine C. Dimoc allowed every member of each group to reflect and share their thoughts on "how the merciful love of God manifested in our life and in your service in the government. The morning event was concluded with the lecture of Bishop Val on the Synodal Path of the People of God that involves:

 

DIALOGUE-COMMUNION-PARTICIPATION-CO-RESPONSIBILITY MISSION

A fellowship and sharing of a sumptuous lunch ended the day's event.
