May 8, 2024, Lagawe, Ifugao – The Philippine Statistics Authority - Ifugao recently hosted a Provincial Level Training focusing on the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (2024 POPCEN-CBMS) Barangay Profile Questionnaire (BPQ) Data Collection, Service Facilities and Government Projects (SFGP) Listing, and Map Generation. The event took place at the PSA Ifugao Conference Hall located in Lagawe, Ifugao.

The comprehensive training was spearheaded by Senior Statistical Specialist Bernadette B. Guledew and Statistical Specialist II Eric B. Aplosen. It aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge essential for the successful execution of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS.

A diverse team consisting of 3 Statistical Researchers, 1 Team Supervisor, 2 Map Data Processors, and 1 Map Data Verifier, all hired specifically for the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS, actively participated in the training. Moreover, regular personnel from PSA Ifugao also engaged in the sessions, fostering collaboration and ensuring a unified approach to data collection and management.
