The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will be conducting the nationwide June 2023 Monthly Palay and Corn Situation Reporting System (MPCSRS). The MPCSRS is a monitoring system of the growing conditions and actual plantings of palay and corn. It aims to update the palay and corn forecasts for the current quarter based on standing crops and forecasts for the next quarter based on planting intentions. It is conducted on a monthly basis (first five days) except for the months of January, April, July and October when the Palay and Corn Production Survey (PCPS) is conducted. Monthly reports are prepared for the months of February, March, May, June, August September and November.
 

In Benguet (including Baguio City), there are 150 palay and corn sample households which will be visited by the interviewers.
 

The PSA-Benguet Provincial Statistical Office is appealing to the public to support the said activities. The office assures that all information collected by the hired Statistical Researchers from the sample farmers/operators shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation or regulation as provided under Article 55 of RA 10625.
 

Once again, the office would like to extend its utmost gratitude for the continuous support of the public to all the different surveys and censuses undertaken by the PSA.
