The Apayao Provincial Statistical Office of the Philippine Statistics Authority conducted simultaneous Batch Two municipal level trainings for the 2024 Population Census and Community-Based Monitoring System from 08 to 13 July at the venues provided by the Municipal Local Government Units (MLGUs) of Conner, Flora, Pudtol, Luna and Santa Marcela, while the first batch training was conducted last 01 to 06 July at Calanasan and Kabugao municipalities. These activities were supported by the MLGUs by providing Enumerator’s Manuals aside from the venue. The week-long training per batch was held primarily to train the hired field personnel on the operation procedures, concepts and definitions before the start of data collection on July 15 until September this year. Representatives from the Municipal Planning and Development Offices also attended the activities.

Regional Director Villafe P. Alibuyog visited the province during the Batch Two training and led the Oath of Data Privacy to the enumerators, team supervisors, and census area supervisors in all venues except MLGU Conner.
