The Progressive Economists’ Solidarity (PESO) - Saint Louis University (SLU) received two awards during the awarding ceremony last October 28, 2022. The said awards were Best Statistical Activity Conducted by a Private Organization, making it their 6th time in winning the award and a Circle of Excellence Award for receiving the same recognition for at least five (5) times from 2015 to 2022 for the category.

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 647, September 20, 1990, declaring the month of October of every year as the NSM. It aims to promote, enhance, and instill awareness and appreciation of the importance and value of statistics to the different sectors of society and to elicit the cooperation and support of the general public in upgrading the quality and standards of statistics in the country.

The activities conducted during the 32nd NSM and PESO Week included webinar series with a symposium, NSM digital infographics and trivia posting, digital poster making competition, photo essay competition, and quiz bee competition.

PESO, the mother organization of Business Economics majors in SLU, enjoined and engaged students from various programs of the university to join the activities and events during the NSM celebration.
