Baguio City – The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) in Cordillera Administrative Region conducted an Information and Education Campaign (IEC) at the Municipality of Bakun, Benguet on 18 April 2023 as part of its advocacy efforts for its relying parties.
The IEC aims to enlighten the participants about what benefits and advantages a PhilID and ePhilID have when used as valid proof of identity and age, especially for digital transactions.
Some of the topics discussed during the IEC include Salient Features of Republic Act No. 11055 which is an Act Establishing The Philippine Identification System, PhilID and ePhilID, PhilSys Check, and API-enabled Authentication Services.
