PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP) Beneficiaries of the municipality of Luba received the SECPA Copies of their Certificates of Live Birth (COLB) from Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) PhilSys Registry Team (PRT) on October 23-25, 2023 at various barangays of Luba, Abra. The awarding ceremony was witnessed by Municipal Civil Registrar Jessy S. Daoaten who assisted the PRT in awarding the COLB to the beneficiaries. There were 18 COLBs to be awarded in the municipality. Only thirteen beneficiaries namely: Isidro G. Gumaru, Leonida M. Balbin, & Roldan B. Agapito of Barangay Ampalioc, Yvhonne Joy D. Sagubay & Jerry A. Dolliente of Barangay Barit, Florenda D. Molina, Belman A. Dargo, Robert A. Balaoag & Lagumbay S. Villamor of Barangay Luzong, Basilia D. Danglapen & Herminio B. Domingo Jr. of Barangay Lul-luno and Joseph R. Garcia & Ronie M. Compra of Barangay Poblacion, were present during ceremony.

This is another accomplishment of the office in the attainment of the goal of PBRAP which is to register the birth records and issue free birth certificates to indigents such as members of marginalized communities, Indigenous People, Muslim Filipinos, the poorest sector of the country, persons currently living outside their birth place, and senior citizens.
