Reference No.: 2024-014

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Apayao Provincial Statistical Office, through the Philippine Identification System, has successfully extended its services to the remote area of Maragat, Kabugao. This outreach initiative took place from April 18 to 19, 2024 under the leadership of CSS Geoffrey B. Calimuhayan. Mr. Jade M. Sumibcay, the PhilSys Focal Person, conducted an Information Awareness Campaign. Attendees had the opportunity to gain insights about the functions and benefits of the National ID, contributing to increased public understanding. During this endeavor, a total of 77 individuals were effectively registered by Robbie B. Oraro and Rodel P. Bongay Jr., serving as the Registration Kit Officer and Registration Agent, respectively.

Looking ahead, the PSA remains steadfast in its commitment to reaching all eligible individuals, urging them to participate in the registration process. Through the National ID, citizens can anticipate smoother and more efficient transactions with government services.
