The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) recently conducted the 2 nd PSA Quiz Bee National Finals at Century Park Hotel, Malate, Manila last December 07, 2022.

The contestants came from the Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) member agencies (excluding PSA employees and relatives within the fourth degree of affinity and consanguinity). One representative from each region of the country, the regional champion, competed in the said event.

The PSA Quiz Bee consisted of three rounds: easy, average, and difficult, equivalent to one point, two points, and three points, respectively. Each round consisted ten questions.

Accumulating the final scores of 43 points, 42 points, and 40 points, the representative from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) bagged the championship title, followed by Region IV-A (CALABARZON) in second place, and Region IV-B (MIMAROPA) in third.

The winners received plaques, certificates, cash prizes and tokens. PSA is looking forward for the continuous support of the RSC in promoting statistics and its importance through participating in the annual PSA Quiz Bee, as well as continuously supporting and improving the local statistical system.
