Participants on the Adoption of PSIC and PSGC Training at LGU- Luna

14 June 2024, Luna, Apayao – Philippine Statistic Authority-Apayao Office conducted Training for the Adoption of the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) and Philippine Standard Geographic Code (PSGC) at the Municipal Mayor’s Office of the Local Government of Luna.

AS Lady Sheena B. Tactac, SSS Corazon B. Bagto, and ROII Joanna Lynne L. Castro facilitated the activity. One of the objectives of the training is to broaden the knowledge and expertise of Municipal Business Permit and Licensing Office personnel in processing LGU Business Registers using the PSIC and PSGC. It also aims to strengthen PSA-LGU partnership towards data sharing, generation, and production of quality, timely, and comparable industrial statistics at the national and local levels 

using the PSIC and PSGC. In attendance were three personnel from Business Permit and Licensing Office and three from Municipal Treasury Office.
