Conduct of 2023 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) and 2023 Input-Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry

One of the national surveys being carried out in 2024 is the 2023 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI), which aims to collect and generate information on the levels, structure, performance, and trends of economic activities of the formal and informal establishments in the economy for the year 2023. Also, it will serve as benchmark information for the overall revision and rebasing to 2023 of the National Accounts.
The sectors of agriculture, forestry and fishing; lodging and food services; arts, entertainment and recreation; construction; education; financial and insurance; human health and social work; information and communication; professional, scientific, and technical services; transportation and storage; manufacturing; mining and quarrying; other services activities; and wholesale and retail trade are all represented by the 66 sample establishments in the province of Apayao.
The sample establishments were distributed in all the seven (7) municipalities of Apayao, namely: Calanasan, 2; Conner,12; Flora, 8; Kabugao, 2; Luna, 31; Pudtol, 3; and Santa Marcela, 8.
Data collection starts from May up to July 2024. PSA is requesting the participating business establishments to respond to the questionnaires truthfully.
