About 4 in Every 10 Civil Registry Documents in Sabangan are Marriages

In 2022, the municipality of Sabangan accumulated a total of 123 civil registry documents which was 26.35 percent lower compared to the 167 registry documents listed in 2021. Marriage took the highest number of documents with 44 registered marriages taking 35.77 percent of the total registry documents in the municipality. This means that about 4 in every 10 documents were marriages. This was 16.98 percent decrease from its births in 2021 at 53.
 
Meanwhile, 2022 registered deaths in the municipality at 43 had 28.33 percent decrease from the listed deaths in 2021 at 60. This data also took 34.96 percent of the total registry documents in Sabangan.
 
Recorded births of 36 decreased by 33.33 percent compared to the previous year with 54 recorded births.
 

About One in Every 100 Births in Mountain Province is Registered in Sabangan

The municipality of Sabangan registered a total of 36 births in 2022. It had 0.88 percent share to the total births listed in the province at 4,077 births. This translates to about 1 in every 100 births in the province were from this municipality.
 
In 2021, Sabangan contributed 1.78 percent to the total registered births in Mountain Province. This means that about 2 in every 100 births in the province were listed in the municipality.

Of these 442 civil weddings, 21 or 4.75 percent were recorded in Sabangan which only means that about 5 in every 100 civil marriages in the province were from this municipality.
 
In addition, 47.73 percent of the total marriages in Sabangan were civil marriages. This means that about 5 in every 10 marriages in the municipality were civil weddings. Also, 36.36 percent were solemnized by the Roman Catholic church and the rest were from other religious rites.
 
 
Marriage is a special contract of permanent union between a man and a woman entered into in accordance with law for the establishment of conjugal and family life.

About Five in Every 100 Deaths in the Province are Registered in Sabangan

According to records by municipality, Sabangan recorded 43 deaths for the year or 4.52 percent of the total deaths listed in the province. This means that about 4 in every 100 deaths in Mountain Province were recorded in this municipality. In 2021, Sabangan recorded a total of 60 deaths.
 
The 43 deaths registered this year in Sabangan was 28.33 percent lower than the recorded deaths it registered in 2021 at 60.

More Male than Female Deaths are Registered in Sabangan

Of the 43 deaths registered in Sabangan in 2022, 22 or 51.16 percent were males. This means that about 51 in every 100 deaths were males. Same trend was observed in 2021. But in 2019 and 2022, there were more female than male deaths in the municipality.

According to marital status of the dead, 17 or 39.53 percent were married. This only means that about 4 in every 10 deaths in the municipality were married; 37.21 were widowed/ widower and 23.26 percent were single.
 
Categorizing by sex, 45.45 percent of the male deaths were married. This translates to about 5 in every ten male deaths were married. 27.27 percent were single and 27.27 percent were widower.
 
For female deaths, 47.62 percent were widow; 33.33 percent were married and 19.05 percent were single.
