About 8 in Every 10 Civil Registry Documents in Bauko are Births

In 2022, the municipality of Bauko accumulated a total of 2,415 civil registry documents which was 25.59 percent higher compared to the 1,923 registry documents listed in 2021. As expected, birth took the bulk of the documents with 1,935 registered births taking 80.12 percent of the total registry documents in the municipality. This means that about 8 in every 10 documents were births. This was 44.40 percent increase from its births in 2021 at 1,340.
 
Meanwhile, 2022 registered marriages in the municipality at 176 had 12.10 percent increase from the 2021 data at 157 marriages. This data also took 7.29 percent of the total registry documents in Bauko.
 
Recorded deaths of 304 decreased by 28.64 percent compared to the previous year with 426 recorded deaths.
 

About Five in Every 10 Births in Mountain Province are Registered in Bauko

The municipality of Bauko registered a total of 1,935 births in 2022. It has 47.46 percent share to the total births listed in the province at 4,077 births. This translates to about 5 in every 10 births in the province were from this municipality.
 
Bauko also listed the highest number of births compared to the different municipalities of Mountain Province in 2021.

Of the 1,407 illegitimate births registered in Mountain Province in 2022, 601 births or 42.71 percent were registered in Bauko. This means that about 4 in every 10 babies registered in the province in 2022 who were born out of wedlock were listed in this municipality.

Of these 442 civil weddings, 99 or 22.40 percent were recorded in Bauko which only means that about 2 in every 10 civil marriages in the province were from this municipality.
 
In addition, 15.91 percent of the total marriages in Bauko were solemnized by the Catholic Church; 56.25 percent were civil marriages; 0.57 percent were tribal weddings while the remaining percentages were solemnized by other religious rites.

Of the 304 deaths registered in the municipality in 2022, 179 or 58.88 percent were males. This means that about 6 in every 10 deaths in Bauko were males. Same trend was observed from the years 2019 to 2021.
 
2021 had the highest difference of male and female deaths. Of the total deaths registered in the municipality, 59.39 percent were males while the rest were females.

According to marital status of the dead, 159 or 52.30 percent were married. This only means that 5 in every 10 deaths in the municipality were married. 22.37 percent were widow/ widower; and 25.33 percent were single.
 
Categorizing by sex, 58.10 percent of the male deaths were married. This translates to about 6 in every ten male deaths were married. 29.61 percent were single and 12.29 percent were widow/ widower.
 
For female deaths, 44 percent were married, 36.80 were widow/ widower and 19.20 percent were single.
