The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) conducted a training on the PSA Administrative Order No. 3, Series of 2004 “Rules and Regulations Governing Registration Acts and Events Concerning Civil Status of Indigenous Peoples” last 08 November 2023 at PSA-CAR 3rd Floor Conference Hall, CTLL Building, Abanao Extension, Baguio City.

National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) - CAR Attorney IV Laude Mia C. Tupeng presented the registrable acts and events concerning civil status of Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs)/Indigenous Peoples (IPs) which included births, deaths, marriages, dissolution of marriages, and revocation of dissolution of marriages. She presented general points to consider in coding the Certificate of Dissolution of Marriage and discussed specific instructions in coding the certificate.

 

 

The said activity was participated by Chief Statistical Specialists of the provincial statistical offices of CAR, civil registry staff of PSA-CAR and PSA Benguet, and municipal civil registrars of Itogon, Mankayan, and Sablan.
