The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office – Cordillera Administrative Region (PSA RSSO-CAR) conducted the 2nd Regional Census Coordinating Board (RCCB) meeting back-to-back with the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN) Kapihan held on August 5, 2015 at Fortune Hongkong Seafood Restaurant.

 

The POPCEN 2015 and the “Friendly Enumerators” campaign videos were played during the coffee break of the activity.

 

Right after the meeting, the Kapihan on POPCEN 2015 was conducted. Joining Dir. Rimando in the panel were Ms. Gulla, Ms. Villafe P. Alibuyog Interim Provincial Statistics Officer of PSA-Benguet and Mr. Navarro.

 

The panel requested for the support of the media in informing the general public about the conduct of the POPCEN. Cordillerans were also enjoined to participate in the nationwide activity and were requested to allow the enumerators to enter their homes for the household interview. It was stressed that accurate results translate to better planning and delivery of proper services.

 

The proper attire of an enumerator was modeled by Ms. Camille Carla U. Beltran, Statistician III of PSA RSSO-CAR. All enumerators, team supervisors and census area supervisors are provided with official identification cards with POPCEN lace, prescribed forms and the following supplies: baseball cap, umbrella, t-shirt, clipboard, bag and tumbler, who will be sent to all homes.
