The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Apayao has turned over the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) 2022 data to the Municipal Local Government of Kabugao. The ceremonial undertaking took place at the Legislative Hall of Kabugao in the morning of February 22, 2024. Queries that were raised based on the highlights presented were addressed. These data are essential to the MLGU as a reference in policymaking and development planning.

In attendance were the Municipal Administrator Jed E. Bosing representing the mayor, the Municipal Development and Coordinator Engr. Enrique U. Rescopin, the Municipal Disaster and Risk Management Officer Matthew Pulog, Sangunniang Bayan Secretary Arturo I. Ukkong, Engr. Charlemagne Ulayan of the Municipal Engineering Office, and other heads and personnel of different municipal offices, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer Rhiener C. Visitacion of the Department of the Interior and Local Government Unit (DILG) Kabugao, PNP represented by Custodial PNCO with other personnel, BFP Fire Inspector Nardito B. Laureta and personnel, and the Chief Statistical Specialist of the Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) – Apayao Geoffrey B. Calimuhayan with his 5 staff.

During the same day in the afternoon, the 2024 Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) was convened for the Municipality of Kabugao as required by CBMS Council Resolutions No. 06, Series of 2021, No. 01 and 02, Series of 2022.The MCCB shall be responsible for the overseeing of operations, ensuring logistic and other requirements are in place prior and during the operations within their jurisdiction.

The event concluded with commitment from the MCCB to work together so that the development goals of the municipality shall improve the lives of the people in Kabugao.
