PSA - Abra Personnel Participates in the 28th Police Community Relations Month Celebration - PNP Medical and Outreach Program
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Abra Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) personnel participated in the PNP Medical and Outreach Program conducted by the 2nd Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company in celebration of the 28th Police Community Relations Month with the theme: “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa para sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan” held at Ampalioc, Luba, Abra on July 21, 2023. The PSA Abra personnel includes Assistant Statistician (AS) Raian J. Francisco, PhilSys Provincial Focal Person (PFP) Jonnel P. Aveño, PhilSys Statistical/Administrative Clerk Angelee Ann B. Perez, Registration Kit Operator Gayzel B. Dumalen, Birth Registration Agent Jocelyn D. Balling, and Driver Manjo A. Cueto. Representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Local Government Unit (LGU) - Luba, and other National Government Agencies (NGAs) also participated in the event, which is aimed to bring the services closer to the people of Ampalioc, Luba.
The activity formally started with a prayer led by Pastor Elmo Salingbay, followed by the welcome remarks of Barangay Captain Amanda F. Sumalag. After the welcome remarks, representatives from the different agencies explained their mandates and services. AS Francisco of PSA – Abra talked on Civil Registration Services and told the public that they can request SECPA documents. The requested documents will be given after they are processed at the PSA CRS outlet in Bangued, Abra. PhilSys PFP Aveño reiterated to the public the importance of Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) and explained PhilIDs and ePhilIDs. The PNP band performed an intermission song. Residents and personnel of various agencies participated in a community dance. Parlor games were also conducted for the kids. The winners were given P100 cash prize and simple loot bags for consolation prizes. Jollibee products and pizzas were also given to them. After the fun part for the kids, the senior citizens of Ampalioc and women of Sitio Lipting, Ampalioc performed cultural songs and danced ‘tadek’ and followed by the PNP band. School supplies were also given to the kids. The services of various agencies were simultaneously rendered to the people while the program is going on. Among the services rendered were haircut, manicure, pedicure, medical and dental services, and free inquiries on each agency’s mandate. The PSA personnel accepted requests for SECPA copies of documents, conducted PhilSys Step 2 Registration & delivered Printable ePhilIDs. After the lunch break, relief goods were given to each family. The activity ended at 1:30 PM with a closing remarks delivered by PNP LTCOL. Dickson K. Banes and words of gratitude by Barangay Captain Sumalag.
