As of June 28, 2023, a total of 102,580 individuals aged 5 years old and above completed the registration process for the National ID and issue 79,386 printed ePhilIDs. The registration process involves capturing of biometric information such as iris scan, fingerprints, and front-facing photograph.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), as the lead implementing agency for Republic Act No. 11055 or the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Act, is mandated to establish a single identification system for all Filipino citizens. PSA- Mountain Province has partnered with local and national agencies, private and public schools, and with continued support from the Local Government Units (LGUs), the PhilSys field personnel were able to register and capture the biometric data from the target population.

Meanwhile, PhilSys registered individuals can now avail of the printed ePhilID, the digital version of the PhilID which may be printed on a piece of paper, provided that they have a copy of their Transaction Reference Number (TRN) or transaction slip, whether digital or physical and have an available ePhilID upon verification through the PSA Online Appointment System.
 
Registration in the fixed registration center located at the Basement of the Municipal Capitol, Poblacion, Bontoc, Mountain Province is open from Monday to Saturday, 8:00am- 5:00pm.
