As the lead implementing agency for Republic Act No. 11055 or the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Act, PSA- Mountain Province is mandated to establish a single identification system for all Filipino citizens. As of 25 April 2023, a total of 98,193 individuals aged 5 years old and above have already registered.

To ensure the inclusivity of the National ID System, institutional registrations and issuance of printed ePhilIDs in schools are being conducted. This strategy brings the aforementioned PhilSys services closer to the remaining unregistered population.

Meanwhile, registration in the fixed registration center located at the Basement of the Municipal Capitol, Poblacion, Bontoc, Mountain Province is open from Monday to Sunday, 8:00am- 5:00pm. For the latest news on PhilSys, visit the official PhilSys website (www.psa.gov.ph/philsys) or follow us on facebook (PhilSys Mountain Province). //HKP
