3 February 2025 - BANGUED, ABRA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PS) Abra Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) had taken a significant step towards enhancing the implementation of the National Identification System in the province. The PSO conducted the National ID Refresher Course Training on January 18, 2025 and the Provincial Level Training on January 31 to February 1, 2025 at the Provincial Statistical Office (PSO). Registration Officer II (RO II) Jonnel P. Aveño, Information Systems Analyst | (ISA I) Christly Faith L. Casigay, and Information Officer I (IO l) Angelee Ann B. Perez facilitated the two trainings. These activities are part of PSO's efforts to streamline the registration process and ensure seamless delivery of quality services to all the clients it serves.

The Refresher Course Training was conducted on January 18, 2025 to update the knowledge and skills of its existing personnel. The training is crucial in ensuring that the National ID Registry Team is equipped to handle the registration process efficiently and effectively. The PSO also conducted a Provincial Level Training of newly-hired personnel on January 31 - February 1, 2025. The training provided a comprehensive overview of the system, including its objectives, implementation guidelines, and its operations. RO II Aveño discussed the overview and background of Republic Act No. 11055, otherwise discussed the various policies and guidelines in the conduct of National operations. IO I Perez discussed the guidelines on National ID Forms and Supporting Documents. The IO I also cascaded the rebranding of the National ID System. ISA I Casigay conducted technical session on the last day of the training. Mr. Aveño concluded the two-day training with an open forum where queries and concerns were addressed. The RO Il also gave advice on strategies to ensure seamless fieldwork operations.
