Corn production from July to September 2021 was posted at 5,511.76 metric tons. It dropped by 31.6 percent from its 2020 same quarter output of 8,064.00 metric tons. In 2020, production recorded the highest during the quarter from 2019 to 2021. (Figure 1 and Tables 1)

Yellow corn production shared more than 99.0 percent to the total output during the third quarter from 2019 to 2021. (Figure 2 and Table 2)
 
Harvest Area
 
During the third quarter of 2021, total corn harvest area was recorded at 1,217.00 hectares. It registered a reduction of 559 hectares or 31.5 percent from previous year’s same quarter level of 1,776.00 hectares. (Figure 3 and Table 1)

Yield per Hectare
 
Yield per hectare during the period of July to September 2021 was 4.53 metric tons. It slightly decreased by 0.3 percent from the 4.54 metric tons a year ago. (Figure 4 and Table 1)
